New Patriot Journal Confirms Authorities on Scene in Laredo

Update:

As of 10:00p.m. PST New Patriot Journal has verified though independent sources in the Laredo police department that there may be some validity to the rumors that have been circulating for the past 24 hours.  Reports are that U.S. Border Patrol agents as well as officers from the Webb County Sheriff’s department are currently working a call that was received by a local rancher in the Santa Isabel River area outside of Laredo, TX and that the County and some Federal officials are currently on the scene.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, sources inside the Laredo P.D. confirmed reports that starting Friday night an altercation between unidentified people had taken over one ranch but that the situation is not within the jurisdiction of the Laredo P.D. so they don’t have officers working it.

The U.S. Border Patrol as well as the Webb County Sheriff will not deny these reports. The following articles relay the time line of devloping events throughout the day:

There seems to be confusion, but also agreement, in most of the stories I'm reading.

The Mayor of Laredo on FOX News on 7/23.

Whatever is and has happened is enough for the city to have been put on lockdown because of nearby shooting and turf wars just across the border.

Lots of conflicting stuff still flyin' around.

If something was taken over, we're certainly not going to hear about it with obama's media in charge. Thankfully, the internet fills the void:

The Zetas are a gang that have members on both sides of the border. They are qute dangerous and need to be curbstomped with extreme prejudice no matter their place of origin.

The original story is complete BS. Unsubstantiated rumour and denied by both the Laredo and Webb County sheriffs and one of the ranchers who had supposedly been taken over.
This is NOT to say that there is not a lot of violence there on the Laredo border...only that the reported story is a complete fabrication. The bloggers like Digger were quite simply duped and should admit it.

Well, for the info you have regarding denials that this went on, there is an equal amount of info that indicates something went down. Lots of violence, yes. But, this situation cannot remain, or we will, for sure, see ranches and homes being taken over, without a doubt.

Tali if a gang like the Z's is not stopped the problem won't just be at the borders. This people have members on the U.S side of the border and even Canada and by members I mean US born citizens not just illegals or even all Hispanic either. As I said they have to be dealt with extreme prejudice.
